TheGivingMachine named Main Sponsor of #UKCharityWeek 2019

Charity Today is delighted to announce the start of an exciting new partnership between its headline project #UKCharityWeek and TheGivingMachine.

The two parties have already worked together on the project in the past, but this is the first time TheGivingMachine has sponsored the campaign in this capacity.

#UKCharityWeek is a campaign designed to give the people of the United Kingdom an opportunity to place awareness and fundraising for charities high on the national agenda, and at a time of the year when people are statistically at their most giving.

#UKCharityWeek is always held within the first full week of December, which in the case of 2019 is 2nd-8th December.

Speaking about the partnership UK Charity Week founder, Lee Rayment, said:

To have a sponsor who has been so supportive and active with the campaign for many years further commit to the cause in this way is a testament to the team at TheGivingMachine and their desire to support our nation’s charities.”

Rayment is particularly looking forward to growing a meaningful relationship with the new sponsor, he added, “I cannot emphasise enough how important it is to have an active sponsor willing to embrace all that the project is about. It’s no good just throwing a bit of money at it, you need to take the time to understand the project and the part you can play. I honestly believe there are fewer better placed than TheGivingMachine to hold such a role.”

Founded in 2006, TheGivingMachine has over 9,745 causes registered and £1.68 million has been raised for charities to date.
