If you love challenges and you’re always trying to step out of your comfort zone, your favourite fundraising Steel City Abseil is back for the 8th year!

The spooky season is upon us and the British Red Cross is organising the annual and most fun abseil of them all on the Owen Building in Sheffield. This is for both regular abseilers and people that have never done it before, so there’s no excuse for you not to sign up and come spend an amazing day with us!

We strongly recommend you choose very carefully your fancy dress because there will be lots of photos and a Fancy Dress Winner Certificate. Don’t forget not to be boring, the more extravagant the better!

This awesome fundraising event will take place on Saturday 26th October in Sheffield and if you don’t know which one is the Owen Building, well it’s not very hard to spot it: it’s a 120ft building with a poem written on it.

Entry costs only £10 and includes a fundraising pack and full training. Besides, your courage will be supporting the Red Cross’ services.

You can sign up by accessing the following link: www.redcross.org.uk/steel and if you need more information, please contact Lucy at lucygray@redcross.org.uk.

When you’re helping others, not even the phrase ‘I’m too afraid of heights’ works as an excuse. Do we have a deal? Great, see you there!
