So you have held a fantastic #UKCharityWeek event for your favourite Official Partner Charity of the campaign.
Here is a press release template for you to use and circulate to media.
Once you are ready to use the template, fill in the blanks (in red font). You can then email it to your local newspaper with some photographs. Call your local paper if you are not sure what their email address is.
You can also share the photographs and how much you have raised for your chosen charity on your Facebook or Twitter account. Remember to include the hashtag #UKCharityWeek in your posts and tag @UKCharityWeek in as well.

Charity fundraising success during #UKCharityWeek!
On INSERT DAY/DATE, INSERT NAME/GROUP came together for #UKCharityWeek to host a fundraising event in INSERT PLACE, TOWN raising vital money (or exact amount if you know it) for INSERT NAME OF CHARITY.
#UKCharityWeek is designed to give the people of the United Kingdom an opportunity to place awareness and fundraising for charities high on the national agenda at a time of the year when people are statistically at their most giving.
FURTHER INFORMATION ON YOUR EVENT (This can be any information that you think made your event special / different. For example, this can range from the type of food you served, or whether or not your event was a fancy dress or even if there was a specific theme you were following)

#UKCharityWeek is always held within the first full week of December, which in the case of 2018 is 3rd-9th December.
