In 2019, we were delighted to receive so much public support for our work and this year, we are excited to be broadening the ways in which people can support us. It is shaping up to be an amazing year for the Suzy Lamplugh Trust and we can’t wait to see who else will be involved in our work.
We were really pleased to recently launch our monthly update postcards. These provide information on what we’ve been working on; personal safety tips, information on the history of the Trust and more – every month is different, and they come directly to your inbox! So, if you want to be kept up to date with our life-changing work across the UK, you can sign up today by clicking here.
In December, we ran our first Christmas advent calendar appeal to raise awareness of our work on social media. We were extremely pleased to have over 118,000 engagements throughout the month. We love sharing details of the work we are doing in real-time as well as hearing what our supporters think. You can find us on Facebook and LinkedIn as Suzy Lamplugh Trust and Instagram and Twitter as @Live_Life_Safe. Please do join in the conversation, re-share our posts, ask questions, we love hearing from you and together, we can raise awareness of our work to even more people.
This year, we have been exploring ways that everyone can fundraise for us without even leaving the comfort of their own home. With this aim, we are now a part of the growing network on Give As You Live, Amazon Smile, TicketPass, and Switch Aid. Simply visit their websites, put in Suzy Lamplugh Trust as your chosen charity and you can raise funds for the Trust when you shop through them.
Finally, how many times have you heard someone say they would love to run a 10km, a marathon, or do a trek overseas, but they just never get around to it? And how many times have you been guilty of this yourself? Well, what better reason to take the plunge and sign up for a life-changing experience than raising money for a life-changing cause?

We are so excited to have teams in Hackney Half Marathon, ASICS London 10km and Prudential Ride 100. We still have some places available for Hackney and ASICS so if you would like to sign up and become a part of Team Suzy Lamplugh Trust, click here to select your challenge and sign up today. We will support you throughout your training and fundraising journey and there will be a team of Suzy Lamplugh Trust staff and volunteers cheering you on from the sidelines on the day of the event.
If you have any other ideas on ways you would like to get involved, please do get in touch as we would love to hear from you: fundraising@suzylamplugh.org
All the support we receive really will make a difference to people across the UK.
