HERE at Strode Park Foundation we have been getting our spooky on this season and providing some great events and activities for people of all ages to get involved in and make this Halloween just as fun as any other!

Many people have been left a little downhearted knowing that trick or treating is off the table this year plus any large gatherings, to keep everyone safe. But this does not have to mean you should have a boring Halloween! We have got a shed load of activities and events that can keep you and your little monsters busy throughout the Halloween period.

Are you still in the mood to carve some pumpkins? Why not join in with our Virtual Pumpkin Carving Competition, it is only £2 to enter and we have three age categories of Under 7’s, 7-13 and 14-114 to join, so everyone can get involved! Visit: www.strodepark.org.uk/events to sign up today. We will be uploading everyone’s photos onto our Facebook page and the image with the most likes in each category will be the winner and receive a certificate and prize! So, follow us on Facebook @strodeparkfoundation to keep updated with this event and make sure your pumpkin is the winner. #squashgoals

With all the pumpkin carving you will be doing it is important that you buy a good pumpkin, we recommend coming down to Felderland Farm where we will be from Monday 26 October to Friday 30 October with a bunch of stalls full of activities to get involved in, as well as a chance to buy your pumpkin. We are excited to be starting our face to face events once more but would like to assure you all that we are taking all necessary precautions to make sure that this event is both fun and safe for everyone involved.

Get your tickets today by visiting: www.felderland.squarespace.com/pumpkin-season-2020. We would like to say a massive thank you to Felderland Farm for working with us this season and helping us start up our face-to-face events once more, we have really missed seeing everyone in our community and can’t wait to see you all again.

If you need to keep your children busy this half-term then why not buy one of our Frightfully Fun, Boredom Busting, Spooktacular October Half Term Activity Packs for just £3. The activity pack comes with 18 pages packed full of puzzles, competitions, crafts, colour in pages, recipes, i-spy, jokes, and fun facts! They are a great way to keep even the naughtiest of monsters entertained this half-term and all the money raised will help support the amazing work we do.
