CHARITY Today Executive Editor, Lee Rayment, has spoken of his team’s delight at the quality of nominations received by administrators of the publication’s Charity Today Awards programme.
Hundreds of UK charities have been putting themselves forward for the awards that have now closed for nominations.
The ten categories in this year’s programme are:
• Humanitarian Award
• Community Impact Award
• Disability Impact Award
• Health & Social Care Award
• Charity Film of the Year
• Partnership of the Year
• Fundraiser of the Year
• Volunteer of the Year
• James E. Smith Special Recognition
• Charity of the Year*
Charity Today Executive Editor, Lee Rayment, said:
“As is the case every year, we receive many inspiring nominations from across the country; the very high level of nominations is what has always made the Charity Today Awards what it is.
“It’s been a torrid year or two, but don’t underestimate the work that charities and volunteers have done during this time.”
The judging period is now underway, and the finalists are due to be announced shortly.
