UK Charity Week partner Skiggle is a disability charity with the sole aim of coming to the aid of people when they really need it most.
Working in two ways, the charity operates a unique 24/7 SOS alert service and runs an online marketplace where people can safely donate and distribute care products and equipment.
There’s no other charity like Skiggle in the UK. What would you do if you were away from home and your disabled child’s feeding tube broke or if you forgot to pack the feed they need to survive, or if a global pandemic comes along and you can’t obtain essential equipment because nationwide supplies are so short?
That’s where Skiggle comes in. Providing a unique rescue service for the disabled world, Skiggle’s membership of more than 6,000 people across the UK step up to help each other source vital pieces of equipment and care products to live their fullest lives. Thanks to Skiggle, life always comes before the disability.
Skiggle’s goal is to continue to grow its membership to make sure help is never more than 10 miles away when needed, and regardless of where in the country you may be.
