CHRISTMAS cards have gone on sale to raise money for Royal Star & Garter.

They are part of the charity’s 2020 Christmas Card Catalogue, which also features wrapping paper and tags, gift wallets and virtual gifts.

Royal Star & Garter provide loving, compassionate care for veterans and their partners living with disability or dementia from Homes in Solihull, Surbiton and High Wycombe.

Four of the 22 cards on sale have been designed by the charity’s residents. They include a Christmas Pudding and Christmas Robin from Army veteran Dick, and a Christmas wreath by Lila. Also featured is a Christmas tree painted by former resident Johnnie, before she passed away in July 2019 at the age of 102.

The charity runs a busy schedule of activities from its three Homes, with residents taking part in arts, music, cookery and much more.
