THE Nazareth Trust, one of the largest Scottish charities, is eager to welcome participants to join their annual hiking fundraiser in Israel.
Due to its increased popularity, the Trust will run two events in 2024: a Spring edition from the 17th until the 23rd of March and an Autumn edition from the 3rd until the 9th of November.
Since its inception in 2014, the Jesus Trail has attracted hikers worldwide to take on a 5-day hike exploring the land of the Bible.
Previous fundraising has gone towards the Trust’s Nazareth Hospital EMMS and has supported the creation of Nazareth Hospital’s first Stroke Department and the refurbishment of the Hospital’s Paediatric Ward.
The Trust has chosen two fundraising campaigns for its 2024 events.
The money raised from the Spring edition will go towards the hospital’s Pastoral Care Development Needs through training, professional development and research.
The Autumn edition will help fund scholarships for aspiring students at the Nazareth Academic School of Nursing so they can fulfil their dream careers.
Watch the Bible come to life as you discover the birthplace of Mary Magdalene, the volcanic structure of the Horns of Hattin, and some surprises on the last day.
