In honour of their former bandmate Sarah Harding, three of the remaining members of Girls Aloud participated in a charity run over the weekend.
At a 5k race on Sunday in London’s Hyde Park, singers Cheryl, Nadine Coyle, and Nicola Roberts paid tribute to Harding, who passed away from breast cancer the previous year. The fourth band member, Kimberly Walsh, was one of many who joined virtually.
After announcing she had breast cancer that had progressed to other parts of her body, Sarah sadly passed away in September 2021 at the age of just 39.
Speaking ahead of the event Cheryl said it still “doesn’t feel like she’s gone at all” during the Race for Life for Sarah event, which was created to honour Sarah’s life and raise money for breast cancer.
