£15,000 was raised for social care charity Quarriers at its fifth Ladies Lunch.
Over 200 guests were entertained by former X Factor and The Voice singing sensation Barbara Bryceland who hosted the afternoon in the Ballroom of Glasgow’s Grand Central Hotel.
The event, saw ladies give generously with funds raised going towards the services Quarriers provides for thousands of vulnerable children, adults and families across the country facing a range of challenges including disability, homelessness, poverty, unpaid carers and people affected by epilepsy.
Host Barbara Bryceland said:
“It was a real pleasure to be a part of Quarriers’ Ladies Lunch, an inspiring day which helps to raise vital funds for a charity that does so much for so many.”
Alice Harper, Quarriers Chief Executive said:
“The return of our Ladies Lunch for a fifth year is a testament to how much the women of the West of Scotland enjoy both the day and the chance to fundraise for Quarriers.
“There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the people we support reach their full potential and without the support of guests and donors, we simply wouldn’t be able to provide the level of care that we do. Thank you to Barbara for being such a wonderful host, we were blown away by your talent.”
