Our Time appoints financial heavyweight to its board of trustees

YOUTH mental health charity, Our Time, has appointed Jonathan Stone, former President and Chief Operating Officer at Energy Intelligence and former Head of Barclays Infrastructure Funds Management to its board of trustees.

Jonathan brings a wealth of experience from the financial sector where he has held several significant roles including Group Treasurer for Barclays Group. He will help to take the charity forward into 2021 and help to ensure its ongoing financial stability as we navigate challenging times for the third sector.

He joins seven other trustees on the board, some of whom have lived experience of parental mental ill-health and together they are focused on ensuring the charity continues to provide support for this much-neglected group of young people in the UK.

Claire Johnston, Chair said:

“We are delighted to have made such a prestigious appointment to our board. Jonathan brings acumen and experience at a take-off point for Our Time, as more and more people see the need and value of supporting children in families with a mentally ill parent.”

Jonathan Stone said:

“I’m delighted to join Our Time and support its outstanding work in this often overlooked area of children’s welfare.”
