HERTFORDSHIRE-based training provider Optima-life is offering free wellbeing workshops for registered charities.
The interactive workshops are designed by Optima-life and based on successful programmes. It has been delivering to public and private organisations for more than 10 years. UK charities are being invited to apply for a free session, which can focus on any aspect of supporting staff such as wellbeing, performance, resilience and work/life balance. Sessions can be as long or short as the charity might need, up to half a day, and can be tailored to any number of staff – from a workshop for a small leadership team or keynote to a mass audience. Optima-life will select one charity per month to receive the workshop, either in person or online.

Simon Shepard, CEO of Optima-life, said:
“The past 18 months have been particularly tough for charities, with many experiencing the intense pressure of caring for more people or having vital funds cut due to the pandemic. I’m very passionate about ‘caring for the carers’ and supporting those who look after others, so I wanted to use my expertise to do something to help. I am delighted to offer these free sessions to charities to enable great causes across the country to carry on doing their great work.”
The first free workshop has already taken place with Rennie Grove Hospice Care in Tring. The session focused on how staff at Rennie Grove could deal with the demands of day-to-day life and the ever-increasing rate of change that both people and organisations have had to contend with. From stress, sleep, resilience, relationships, energy, and exercise, the team was encouraged to create their personalised plan to be effective and purposeful, both at work and at home.
