Norwich City Community Sports Foundation score training goals

As the official charity arm of Norwich City Football Club, Norwich City Community Sports Foundation helps thousands of people every year achieve their goals through sport.

They urgently needed to find an online solution to continue delivering and evidencing their own compliance training seamlessly during the pandemic.

After asking for recommendations, they contacted TrainingToolz to set up a meeting to find out more. The meeting allowed everyone to discuss the Foundation’s training aims and TrainingToolz to ensure they could provide a solution that was fit for purpose and on budget.

TrainingToolz’ ‘out of the box’ solution suited the Foundation perfectly, so they signed up immediately and quickly got familiar with uploading content and distributing courses.

Paul Harding, Compliance, Inclusion and Impact Manager, Norwich City Community Sports Foundation, said:

“The system was so simple to use that we were up and running within an hour.”

Norwich City Community Sports Foundation supports and inspires their community, with objectives centred around driving inclusion for people with disabilities, boosting mental health and wellbeing, and supporting disadvantaged people to raise their aspirations.

Paul continued:

“We work with vulnerable people and, as such, it’s vital that we can train our staff both remotely and onsite and verify that essential training has taken place.

“Some of our stakeholders are not familiar with technology, but the TrainingToolz system was simple to use on any device.”

Paul and his team have extended the range of content they deliver via the platform to include inductions for new staff, training for volunteers, issuing and documenting acceptance of policy and procedure, and online courses for parents and pupils. They also use it for staff welfare surveys as remote working continues.

Celebrating 30-years in January 2022, Norwich City Community Sports Foundation support some of the most disadvantaged, disabled and talented people across the region. They work to provide inclusive environments for people with disabilities, tackle loneliness and associated anxiety and inactivity, and engage with youngsters at risk of being excluded from school.

They also run affordable programmes and development opportunities for the wider community, including schools.
