A school in Sunderland won a UK wide NSPCC competition and have been awarded £5000 worth of supermarket vouchers to support their breakfast club.
Broadway Junior School entered the competition late last year with students filming a music video on why they love their school. They beat applications from across England, Wales and Scotland to win the competition launched by the NSPCC.
The prize of £5000 vouchers will help the school continue their breakfast club, which runs every morning and is featured in the winning entry song.

Tianna Cowan, Senior Fundraising Manager for the NSPCC, said:
“Broadway Junior School put forward a fantastically creative entry, and we are proud to provide them with £5000 of supermarket vouchers for their breakfast club.”
