New partnership gives Hywel Dda Health Charities exclusive half-marathon deal

HYWEL Dda Health Charities has been unveiled as the new ‘Powered By’ partner for The Wales Half Marathon 2021 in an exclusive new deal.

The Wales Half Marathon has been widely recognised as one of the best and most challenging races out there. With stunning sea views and a testing, undulating terrain the event starts from the birthplace of Henry VII, the imposing Pembroke Castle.

It is set entirely in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and athletes journey around award-winning beaches and medieval castles on their route back to Tenby to be greeted by the huge crowds and the unforgettable Long Course Weekend finish line.

This new partnership offers Hywel Dda Health Charities’ supporters the opportunity to take part in events across the whole of the Long Course Weekend Wales next June, whilst fundraising for the local NHS.

The Long Course Weekend, which is run by Activity Wales Events, takes place in Tenby, from Friday, 25th June to Sunday, 27th June, and Hywel Dda Health Charities has limited spaces available in all of next year’s events:

  • Taking place on Friday, 25th June is The Wales Swim & LCW Kinder children’s event.
  • Then, on Saturday, 26th June, there will be The Wales Sportive – 40-mile, 70-mile or 112-mile options.
  • The weekend culminates on Sunday, 27th June with The Wales Marathon, Half-Marathon, 10k or 5k.

People are being urged to join with Hywel Dda Health Charities to #makeadifference and raise funds for local NHS patients and staff in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.

The limited places available through Hywel Dda Health Charities for the Long Course Weekend will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. People can get in touch at:
