New Committee Member of The Shaw Foundation announced

THE Cardiff-based charity, The Shaw Foundation, has appointed Dr. Watson-Druée to its Committee, as of 1st July 2020. Her appointment strengthens the professional expertise of the committee and she is joining the Foundation at an exciting time in the charity’s 34-year history.

Dr. Watson-Druée’s vast experience will help the Foundation to deliver its strategic goals at a time when their subsidiary Company launches a revolutionary new product into the elderly care sector, opening significant opportunities for future grant-awarding possibilities.

The current Managing Director of Beacon Organisational Development Limited, Dr. Watson-Druée is an award-winning, strategic, and multi-faceted Non-Executive Director, a transformation expert and a thought leader with a prestigious list of awards and achievements.

She has received an MBE for Nursing Leadership, a CBE for Health Service Innovation and Leadership, and Her Majesty’s Queen Elizabeth II Medal for Health Service Innovation and Leadership. She is also the recipient of the Millennium Nurse Award for outstanding contribution to Nursing Leadership.

In addition, Dr. Watson-Druée received the Windrush Award for Nursing Innovation, and the Millennium Nurse – Special Recognition Award from the Secretary of State for Health for her outstanding contribution to nursing in the UK. She holds fellowships of the Royal College of Nursing (UK) and City & Guilds London Institute. She is also a Doctor of the University of Birmingham, City University, and Bradford University.
