Neptune Software and Make-A-Wish make it easier to bring joy to children

NEPTUNE Software, which aims to empower businesses with innovative, modern, and digital solutions, teams up with Make-A-Wish Norway (MAWN) to digitalize and optimize their previous application processes. The MAWN foundation creates hope, strength and joy for children and young people living with a life-threatening illness, by making their wishes come true.

Every wish begins with a referral – Children, parents or guardians, medical professionals or family members may submit a referral, and the wish process may involve different parties from the first step to the granting of the wish. But not only different parties but different technologies and missing API-connections were the problem. A complex process was made incomprehensible and hard to manage. Neptune Software changed this complex process through their digital experience platform, streamlining MAWN’s processes and workflows such as data request and input, reporting, governance, and more. These processes are now unified, centralized, and mobilized – utilizing Neptune Software’s low-code platform and its complementary cloud service, Neptune DXP Cloud.

MAWN’s digital transformation, with the new apps from Neptune Software, is making everything easier for those requesting wishes, as well as the many people working for or involved with the foundation.

Kristin Anderssen, Chairperson of the Board of Director of MAW Norway said:

“Neptune Software’s offer to work with us as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) program helps us restructure our organization, and mobilize our processes to most benefit the children. Being able to manage everything from our headquarters in Oslo with fully automated apps that are available to everyone, minimizes the local teams’ administrative work. This empowers local teams to have more capacity to foster those personal relationships that are the foundation of our work.”

CEO of Neptune Software, Andreas Grydeland Sulejewski, said:

“We are very proud that our platform is empowering such important work in our society and that we are supporting the smooth running of operations, eliminating redundant work and letting people concentrate on what is most important – the children and their wish.”

Njål Stabell, CIO of Neptune Software added:

“As Neptune Software continues to grow, we want to expand our efforts of positively impacting the world and bring it to a very personal level. Contributing to the important cause & work of non-profit organizations such as Make A Wish is part of our corporate social responsibility program. For me, as co-founder, embedding this ‘tribe’ spirit into the DNA of the company and within our community has always been key – we love to pay it forward.”
