A 36-year-old man has been jailed for stealing £120,000 from Wirral-based charity Autism Together, which was formerly called The Wirral Society for Autistic Children.
Dale Mills stole tens of thousands of pounds during his time working on the charity’s finance team.
He was this week sentenced to 32 months in jail at Liverpool Crown Court.
Robin Bush, CEO of Autism Together, said:
“We were deeply shocked to uncover Dale’s fraud and are very sorry for any inconvenience this has caused to the families and service users we support.
“We have made sure that no-one has been disadvantaged by Dale’s actions and our organisation’s finances remain robust.”
