LYMPHOMA Action, the only charity in the UK dedicated to lymphoma, is pleased to welcome Shaf Mansour to its Board of Trustees.
Shaf has over 10 years of experience working in the charity sector. He was Head of Digital Content and Communities at Barnardo’s, and previous to that, he worked at Action for Blind People and Unicef. He also has experience on the front line at a local branch of Mind in east London, where he supported children and vulnerable adults at police stations as an ‘Appropriate Adult.’ Shaf’s current role as a Product Manager at The Access Group means he works with hundreds of charities of different sizes across many causes. He is also a mentor at Charity Comms, where he is passionate about sharing his professional knowledge and skills to support others.
“I’m honoured to be joining Lymphoma Action at this incredibly exciting time as the charity grows from strength to strength. I look forward to drawing on my experience of technology and product development to ensure Lymphoma Action can reach more people who need help and support.”
Gordon Johns, Chair of the Board of Trustees at Lymphoma Action, said:
“We are delighted that Shaf has joined our Board of Trustees. We have been keen to seek a trustee with digital and ICT strategy experience to support the organisation and help us increase our reach even further. We are looking forward to working with Shaf and warmly welcome him to Lymphoma Action.”
