Lifesaving charity Arrive Alive teams up with Sky Blue Adventures for 2023

TWO unique organisations based within the heart of England have teamed up for 2023 to raise vital funds for voluntary operated lifesaving vehicles for West Midlands Ambulance Service Community First Responders. Arrive Alive is Britain’s only registered charity of its kind dedicated to funding voluntary operated emergency medical assistance.

Sky Blue Adventures was founded by Paul Reeve following thirty years of working in the emergency sector himself. His passion for the great outdoors and global adventures has grown into a global company organising events all year round following its launch in 2012. Adventures such as treks, walking expeditions, fire walks, and abseils have taken place in various parts of the world from the UK and Ireland to Tanzania, Australia and Borneo.

Paul Reeve Founder of Sky Blue Adventures said:

“Arrive Alive is a fantastic local charity helping to provide a life-saving service to the people of the West Midlands in support of the West Midlands Ambulance service. We have had the pleasure of spending time with the Arrive Alive team and we are incredibly passionate about helping them raise much-needed funds for the procurement of a further community ambulance. It is an honour for Sky Blue Adventures to be able to work with the charity and to support them in their fundraising endeavours. We have pledged as a company to donate 5% of our annual profits to make a contribution towards their fundraising targets.”

Arrive Alive is solely funded by public donations and fundraising events, at present, there are eleven lifesaving voluntary operated vehicles assisting to save lives within communities across the Midlands and Worcestershire. Each vehicle can arrive within those vital minutes prior to a road or air ambulance by being based directly within the community. Each of the Arrive Alive vehicles is operated by a medically trained volunteer and is on West Midlands Ambulance Service radio system to be dispatched to a 999 medical emergency.

It is exciting to be involved with a global company of this calibre, for a small but mighty charity to be recognised by Sky Blue Adventures is wonderful.
