Lifesaving charity Arrive Alive appoints new trustee

Britain’s only registered charity of its kind welcomes a new Trustee. Lee Garside joins the current board of Trustees to assist with supporting and developing the lifesaving work that Arrive Alive does within communities.

Arrive Alive is solely funded by public donations and is dedicated to funding vital lifesaving vehicles and equipment for medically trained volunteers. An Arrive Alive vehicle is voluntary operated and can reach a 999 medical emergency in those vital seconds/minutes prior to a road or air ambulance due to being directly based within the heart of the community and are dispatched to a 999 call by West Midlands Ambulance Service.

Lee Garside, Senior Consultant at Avensure and trustee of Arrive Alive said:

“I am delighted to announce that I have been appointed as a trustee of Arrive Alive. It is an honour to be part of such a wonderful organisation that I have seen making a positive impact in communities for many years. I am excited to get to work to help further the organisation’s mission and goal of saving more lives within communities.”

Outside of his trustee role Lee is a Senior Consultant for Avensure with a wealth of knowledge in HR, health & safety and employment law compliance. Avensure is a Platinum Trusted Service Award Feefo winner, they are a one-stop shop for all things Health & Safety, HR and Employment Law.

Debbie Roscoe, Founder of Arrive Alive said:

“The board of Trustees have been singing Lee’s praises and his enthusiasm for driving Arrive Alive forward has come as a great boost to the charity. His positive attitude along with his outgoing can-do outlook is infectious. I can still remember my first meeting with Lee six years ago, his support of the work Arrive Alive does has been fantastic from the very beginning. I cannot wait to see Lee find his feet with his new role as Trustee.”
