Juggl Desks launches charity initiative

Juggl Desks has announced that registered UK charities can now access its desk booking software free of charge. The solution allows employees to quickly and easily reserve desks and facilities in advance of attending the office while enabling charities to effectively manage office occupancy.

John Nicklin, MD of Juggl Desks said:

“Charities have had it tough throughout the pandemic, we’d like to offer our support, by providing every charity in the UK with free-to-use desk booking software so they can get back to office-based work safely and effectively.”

Hybrid working, in which workers split their time between the office and home, is now commonplace and so it’s more important than ever to allow employees (including field staff and volunteers) to reserve hot desks, car parking spaces and other facilities. Knowing that they’ll have somewhere to sit and the right facilities to hand on arriving at the office, provides peace of mind. Plus, the charity has a holistic view of who is in the office and when so that capacity and usage can be monitored.

With research showing that the pandemic has accelerated charities’ adoption of digital technology, including 82 per cent of charities that report the use of digital technology by staff for remote work or volunteering, rolling-out Juggl Desks to staff is unlikely to be met with any resistance.

John Nicklin added:

“Workers are tuned-in to digital technology more than ever before, and so it’s important for charities to adopt the latest solutions to help their people get back to the office as effectively as possible, and as Juggl Desks has no reduced functionality as part of our charity offer, organisations can be assured they’re getting an effective, simple-to-use desk booking solution to make their office lives much easier.”

Juggl Desks is quick to set up and intuitive to use so that both administrators and end-users require little training. As it’s mobile-friendly, it can be used on any mobile device at any time and from any location. In addition, floor plans and maps can be made available so that users can easily identify which desk they’d like to reserve, and the filtering option allows employees to book desks by location and facilities.

John Nicklin concluded:

“It’s important for us to support UK charities as they continue to tackle the fallout from the pandemic, and this includes helping their employees to return to the office in a safe and productive way. Our free-to-use software can support this transition with no outlay and minimal disruption.”
