HUMANIMAL Trust, the charity founded by renowned orthopaedic veterinary surgeon Professor Noel Fitzpatrick to drive collaboration between human and veterinary medicine – a concept known as One Medicine – has announced the appointment of Fi Harrison as its new Executive Director.
Fi brings more than 25 years of experience across fundraising, communications, strategy and leadership within the charity and higher education sectors. Her career has been defined by helping charities create lasting change, building strong partnerships and delivering sustainable growth.
Most recently, she worked with researchers and corporate partners at the University of Birmingham, helping to strengthen collaboration and drive meaningful impact. Prior to that, she spent five years leading fundraising and communications at Birmingham Dogs Home, championing animal welfare and organisational sustainability.
With extensive experience spanning research, collaboration and animal welfare, Fi is well placed to lead Humanimal Trust into its next chapter.
