HISTORY is made in the final of the Charity Today Awards Partnership of the Year with the finalists remaining tied after the public vote.
It is the first time in the Charity Today Awards ten year history that an award is to be shared.
Charity Today Awards Committee Statement
The judges unanimously agree the Partnership of the Year category is to be shared.
There is not a clear one per cent to separate the finalists.
The decision is final.
Charity Today Executive Editor Lee Rayment said:
“We nearly had this situation four years ago, but we have always been clear about the one per cent rule – there has to be a clear one per cent. It goes to show that every vote matters!
“Speaking from my heart, both partnerships are extremely deserving and have been an absolute credit to the awards, themselves and their supporters.”
