In response to COVID-19 and its impact upon the charity sector (and as part of their CSR policy), DPSS Ltd is offering free pro bono places on several courses to staff from UK Charities.
DPSS is a specialist training organisation with many years of experience and numerous clients, including charities and those in the third sector. The courses they are offering are designed to assist charities with managing contracts, legal matters, negotiations and the commercial aspects of fundraising. These will be a series of one day or half-day events, delivered by Dr Ray Carter, author of ‘Practical Contract Management’ and Director of DPSS.
The course titles include:
- Practical Contract Management for Charities and Social Enterprises 12/04/2021
- Legal Aspects of Contract Management 23/04/2021
- Practical Negotiations 24/05/2021
- Commercial Management and Fund Raising 14/06/2021
- Partner Collaboration 28/06/2021
DPSS plan to deliver the courses via the very popular Zoom software, and the number of participants will be limited to ensure an effective and enjoyable learning experience. The participants will have full access to the tutor. They will be able to collaborate with other participants and discuss case studies in virtual ‘breakout rooms’ make notes and presentations on ‘whiteboards’, and generally benefit from a ‘normal’ classroom experience.
