EXPERIENCED engineer and business leader Nicola Winn has been appointed as a Trustee of EIBF – the charity that promotes business education for engineers and scientists.
Nicola is a Charted Chemical Process Engineer and a graduate of the University of Cambridge. Over the course of her 28-year career spanning the chemicals industry, investment banking, strategy consulting and the NHS, she has led cross-functional teams across global and regional operations, delivering sustained improvement in performance, governance, and outcomes.
Nicola was awarded a Sainsbury Management Fellows scholarship by EIBF in 2004 to study for an MBA at London Business School. She has been a member of the charity’s finance sub-committee since 2024.
More recently, Nicola showed her passion for developing next generation leaders by providing mentorship to guide and inspire women and non-binary leaders in STEM through her volunteering work at award-winning social enterprise Stemettes.

In September, Nicola will take on the additional role of Treasurer at the charity, replacing Mope Ogunsulire.
