Latcham Direct, a leading provider of digital and print solutions to customers throughout the UK, has acquired CGL, an independent print management company based in Crawley, Sussex, as part of its ongoing strategy to significantly grow the business and increase its UK-wide reach.
The award-winning firm, headed by managing director Mike Hughes, which launched in 2010 and employs over 90 staff, has a wealth of experience delivering print production, mailing, secure document fulfilment and specialist digital communications.
The purchase marks Latcham’s first strategic acquisition and is an important step as the business looks to broaden its scope and extend its reach to key industries across the country.
CGL was established nearly 30 years’ ago and is well-respected for its expertise in delivering a wide range of print, mailing and distribution services and products to core sectors
The combined team which will trade under the brand Latcham | CGL will continue to look after the digital and print requirements of a number of leading charities including: Diabetes UK, Asthma UK, Coeliacs UK Guide Dogs for the Blind, the Royal National Lifeboat Association and the National Trust.
The Latcham / CGL team will continue to provide its core services such as: collaborative design, critical mailings, process-based solutions, print management, project management, warehousing, distribution and fulfilment, web-based solutions and corporate identity policing from its Crawley base.
