SHE’S rubbed shoulders with celebrities and modelled for some of fashion’s biggest brands (including Chanel, Burberry, Marc Jabocs and Topshop!) so it’s no surprise sustainable style icon Daisy Lowe has amassed quite the wardrobe. But what does one do with all of these beloved vintage and designer pieces once they’ve reached the end of their life cycle?
As the saying goes, ‘one person’s trash is another person’s treasure’, and this is why, in an exciting new partnership with luxury resale site Cudoni, Daisy is selling a select edit of her preloved designer items to raise money for Choose Love charity.
Daisy says juggling her love for fashion and love for the planet is a constant challenge, but she is on a mission to help drive Cudoni’s message of loving items again and again.
“Right now, I’m all about keeping fashion circular and more sustainable. So buying and selling pre-loved designer pieces with Cudoni not only helps me feel good about giving my clothes a new life, but it’s also so simple and rewarding. The Cudoni team takes care of everything, from collecting my items to sell to getting me the best price and handling the entire sales process seamlessly.”
Daisy’s pieces from brands like Chanel, Saint Laurent and Erdem are available to shop via the Cudoni marketplace. All proceeds (including Cudoni’s normal commission fees!) donated to Choose Love charity – the founder a longtime friend of Daisy’s.
A spokesperson for Choose Love charity said:
“We are big advocates for innovative solutions to sustainability in fashion, and we love what Cudoni do within the space, so it’s an honour to be supported by them in this campaign, and Daisy has been a huge supporter of our work since we started out, so her ongoing love and belief in our work really means the world to us. These types of collaborations really show that fundraising can be fun and the funds raised make everything we do possible.”
Choose Love is an international organisation focused on raising awareness and vital funds for refugees and displaced people around the world, providing everything from lifesaving search and rescue boats to food and legal advice.
This edit shows that you don’t just have to look good, but you can feel good about your retail choices too. Since launching in May, many of her pieces have sold out, but there is still time to shop – including a pair of Saint Laurent army boots and Nicholas Kirkwood heels. If you’ve ever needed a reason to splurge on a designer item, then look no further than Daisy’s edit.
