Charity Today is very fortunate to play a significant role promoting the third sector. We are therefore always keen to meet charities both local and national that would like help promoting themselves through Charity Today’s various platforms and projects. We also have multiple opportunities for businesses to get involved, so do not hesitate to stop by, but remember to make an appointment first to save a wasted trip!
HOW TO GET TO THE CENTRE
Drive to Peterborough City Centre and follow the signs to the Football Ground. Once there, follow the signs to the Future Business Centre. For Sat Nav, please use the postcode PE2 8AL. The car park outside the Centre is often full between 9am-5pm so please use the gravel car park outside the football club (which has a sign stating it is for PUFC, Allia and Peterborough City Council use). In the event that this car park is full please park at Pleasure Fair Meadow Pay & Display car park which accepts cash & cards. To get to this car park, head out of the football ground and head straight over at the cross-road with the traffic lights and turn right into the car park before going under the railway bridge.
The Future Business Centre is 1 mile, and a 15 minute walk, from the railway station. Exit the station and turn right and follow the signs to the Football Ground. Once there follow the signs to the Future Business Centre. Phone numbers for local taxis can be found below. There is also a taxi rank at the station.
From Peterborough Bus Station, at Queensgate Shopping Centre, buses run frequently to the Future Business Centre. Service Citi 1 calls at bus stop A (Town Bridge Corner, Westbound) as does the less frequent service 24. Citi 3 and services 5 and 6 call at bus stop B (Town Bridge Corner, Southbound) as do less frequent services on routes 20, 31, 33 and 46. Services 5 & 6 from bus stop C (The Peacock, NE-bound) return to Peterborough Bus Station.
From Cathedral Square next to the Queensgate Shopping Centre you can easily cycle or walk to the Future Business Centre which is half a mile away from the City Centre. Facing the Cathedral in Cathedral Square, turn right down Bridge Street and cross Bourges Boulevard. Cross over Town Bridge in front of you and turn left into Peterborough Football Ground. Once on site, head for the new, blue Motorpoint stand at the far end where you can enter the reception for Future Business Centre. There is plenty of cycle parking at the Future Business Centre.
