THE end of the Academic Year ties in neatly with Clear Sky’s accounting year and as such we produce our annual Impact Report at this time for funders, supporters and friends to demonstrate what we have achieved, how we have spent generously given grants and donations, and to share the impact we have had against our aims and mission.
Clear Sky’s services have really grown in the past 12 months, (pandemic…what pandemic?) and we are incredibly proud of our achievements. Moreover, we are very proud of our team of dedicated therapeutic professionals and hard-working central team who have gone totally above and beyond to keep the business of looking after vulnerable children, supporting their families, training teachers and therapeutic professionals thriving and contributing towards raising the profile of Play and Creative Arts therapy for the benefit of all children in the UK and beyond.
Highlights of the year for us have been getting to keep seeing the children in our care through our continued presence in schools throughout lockdowns, getting back into the training room with REAL people, and using our creativity and resilience to come up with practical solutions for families and children to support them through a difficult year. Our Parents Play Kit was a particular success, with us having provided thousands of free digital downloads for families and hundreds of print copies for professionals already this year. Of course, we were also pretty pleased to be awarded Oxfordshire’s Children’s Charity of the Year too!
Finally, we are delighted to have resumed group work with families and children, and to be delivering support to new parents and babies too!
We have great plans for 2021-22 and are incredibly grateful to the supporters who share our values and help us to provide our much-needed services.
