APPLICATIONS for the 2026 Churchill Fellowships open on 2 September 2025, offering UK citizens a unique opportunity to explore global solutions to pressing national challenges.
This year’s launch introduces three brand new Fellowship programmes alongside the established themes, creating more ways for people with bold ideas to drive positive change in the UK.
Each year, the Churchill Fellowship funds over 100 people to spend four to eight weeks meeting experts around the world – either in person or online. Fellows return to the UK with fresh insights, international networks, and the support to put their ideas into action for the benefit of their communities and sectors.
Julia Weston, Chief Executive of the Churchill Fellowship, said:
“We are very excited to be launching our latest series of Fellowships, including three brand new programmes. I would encourage anyone with a passion to make a difference to find out more about how a Churchill Fellowship could help bring your idea for change to life. We welcome applications from any UK citizen with a vision for change in their community or sector.”
This year also marks the 60th anniversary of the Churchill Fellowship, celebrating the amazing achievements of its community of over 4,000 changemakers who have worked across six decades to improve life in the UK.
