The winners of this year’s Charity Today Awards are to be featured throughout a special day dedicated to showcasing the charities and individuals that have been victorious in the 2020 awards.
Following a stringent judging process to determine the finalists Voting in the Charity Today Awards took place on social media (Twitter specifically) with the public being encouraged to vote and share.
Over ten thousand votes by the public decided the final results with the Charity of the Year category still to be determined.
Lee Rayment, Charity Today’s Executive Editor and UK Charity Week founder, said:
“Following the cancellation of the Charity Today Awards event, we reverted to an old format of ours on social media. I witnessed so many awards events cancel due to COVID-19 and the fact they would not have made money.
“I can honestly say that the Charity Today Awards are never about money; it’s about bringing attention to some of the countries top forming charities and individuals from the charity sector.”
