A detailed explanation of each benefit:

Brand Licence

This is a licence (or put another way, ‘formal permission’) issued to use the campaign’s official branding in various ways.

Hyperlinked Logo

Your logo will be featured on the Official Partner Charities page with an active link to your website. This could also help your SEO rankings being linked to by the Charity Today website.

Charity Partner ZIP Files

These are the social media assets of the campaign that have been designed to help you promote yourself, the campaign and any fundraising activities. These are normally emailed to you in early September.

Social Media Acknowledgements

The moment you sign up to become an Official Partner Charity of the campaign, the administrators will begin the work behind the scenes to compile your ‘Welcome Graphic’ which will be Tweeted for you to share on Twitter.

There will also be three other Tweets scheduled one before, one during and another soon after the campaign.

You are also welcome to tag us into any relevant campaign posts using @UKCharityWeek.

Social Media Follow

The official Twitter account of UK Charity Week will follow your account for this year’s campaign, and add you to a private list for interaction.

Official Welcome Pack (including Fundraising Resources)

You will receive the Official Welcome Pack in the post, this contains; posters, guidance leaflets and other useful resources to help you undertake your promotion and fundraising activities.

Digital Resources Page Access

This is a page on the Charity Today website accessible to Official Partner Charities only that contains extra digital copies of the campaign’s marketing files.

#charitytuesday Retweets 2019

As administrators of the official #charitytuesday Twitter account, we ensure that our partners are the only charities retweeted. This project trends every Tuesday on social media and that audience is now yours, remember to tag @UKCharityTues in any Tweets you want to be retweeted!

Charity of the Year Entry

All of our Official Partner Charities are able to nominate themselves in the Charity Today Awards category of Charity of the Year. Please note: You must be a registered charity of this year’s campaign BEFORE the annual nominations close to be eligible.

Columnist Opportunity

One of the many perks for registering early is the ability afforded to Official Partner Charities to have your own column on the hugely popular Charity Today website. Here you can promote your charity, your volunteers, fundraisers and any other activities you are carrying out throughout the year. This consists of a monthly 500-word article with an image or embedded video. The deadline to have a column is 30 April.

500-Word Article

If you would like us to feature an article about your new Official Partner Charity status, please feel free to print off a copy of your partner logo and have your team photographed with it! Then send us a press release to support@charitytoday.co.uk for inclusion on Charity Today.

Is the campaign successful?

Success means different things to people. Statistically, it’s a UK record-breaker! But if success to you means financially for the charities, that depends on the work they put in.

We have charities that register to raise awareness then, on the other hand, we have charities that pay the £25 using the opportunity to raise ten of thousands of pounds every year through events and other campaign activities.

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch via the contact page.
