Carbon Copy welcomes new Trustee

Climate charity Carbon Copy has this week announced the appointment of a new Trustee, Claudia Jaksch.

Claudia, a seasoned policy expert, is Chief Operating Officer and Head of Sustainability at the not-for-profit think tank Policy Connect.

Claudia brings in-depth experience in strategic leadership on impact and performance measurement and management; human resource management; financial monitoring and reporting; business development; governance structures, and regulatory compliance skills to Carbon Copy’s board.

Carbon Copy is a UK-based charity with a goal to accelerate progress to carbon zero by sharing and celebrating stories of collaborative local climate action and inspiring others to replicate initiatives in their own local area.

Appointed through an extensive recruitment process, Claudia will be joining founding Trustees; Ric Casale, Heather Allen and Andy Knott.

Ric Casale, Chair of Carbon Copy’s Trustees, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Claudia to the Carbon Copy team. We are excited about her experience and background in sustainability policy and charity leadership, and we look forward to sharing in this knowledge and growing the success of Carbon Copy as a result.”

Claudia said:

“Carbon Copy is an inspiring new organisation, focused on driving collective action to address the climate crisis. My experience of engaging government, civil service, parliamentarians, businesses, academia and the third sector in issues around sustainability policy has led me to realise that this collaborative approach, where all parts of society are involved, leads to a greater, more long-lasting impact. I am delighted, therefore, that the Board of Trustees has entrusted me with the opportunity to utilise my skills to help steer Carbon Copy forwards, helping us to reach a carbon zero future faster.”
