Two of the nation’s favourite animal charities, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and Wood Green Animal Shelters, have both been shortlisted as finalists in the Charity Today Awards, Animal Welfare Award category.
It comes after a host of impressive nominations were received from members of the public and later put before the judging panel for their consideration.
Lee Rayment, Executive Editor of Charity Today News said, “For me it’s like asking a mother to choose between her children, but that is the nature of all awards you do not become a finalist lightly and both charities certainly deserve this recognition. We hope their supporters now come out in their numbers to vote for them both.”
The Charity Today Awards are designed to get people talking about their favourite causes and the work that they do.
