DAY Two of the UK Charity Week Daily Themes is #Give5Day. Today we will be encouraging people to donate 5 of something to their favourite cause, be that £5, 5 items to their local charity shop, 5 hours of volunteering or even five social media post shares – it’s your choice!
UK Charity Week founder Lee Rayment said:
“This is the one theme of the campaign that is still very much in its infancy. We are looking at various ways to evolve this in the years to come. But for now, the concept is simple you give 5 of something positive to your favourite cause.
“I hope that charities have a lot planned this week. As a society, we’ve had little to shout about as the opportunities to fundraise have been limited. So, UK Charity Week is a great positive opportunity.”
