£20,000 donated to special needs School to help enhance their outdoor learning area

The MCKS Charitable Foundation UK was delighted to present the staff of Manor Green School & the Manor Green School Friends Association with £20,000 to help enhance their outdoor learning area.

The School will develop this space with suitable and accessible areas for their young people with the specialised equipment that they need. They would also like to develop the areas for play, self-learning and PE.

Manor Green School offers outstanding education and therapy to students aged 2 to 19, all of whom, due to their complex special educational needs, require specialist provision to succeed academically and achieve their full potential.

They offer a varied curriculum, further enriched by their unique philosophy of the ACE Model. This philosophy follows a commitment to placing equal importance on each of the three components of successful learning:

A – academic progress
C – care and therapeutic learning support
E – enrichment and life skills development

The MCKS Charitable Foundation UK were very grateful to be given a tour of the school and join in one of the weekly Children’s Wellbeing and Relaxation sessions developed by the Institute of Pranic Healing UK & Ireland.

It was amazing to see the Children engaging in the session.
